Event Recap: Saturday, July 25, 2015
9:30am - 1:30pm - Registration at the tent on the Temple Common. You will receive an Event Guide which will provide directions and information about characteristics and activities at each barn.
10am - 4pm - Barns open for ticket-holders! With live animals, activities, demonstrations, and fascinating emblems of history, there's something for everyone!
10am - 4pm - Elliot's Place food truck will be open at Connolly's farm, serving delicious home-cooked breakfast, burgers, hot dogs, drinks, snacks and you can get some of Connolly's marvelous ice cream (made right here in Temple!)
2pm - 3pm - Historian John Porter: “Interesting Features of NH Barns.” in the Temple Town Hall. This presentation will give a pictorial tour through several old barns in New England and explain the function of curious features
such as the scuttle hole, windlass, & cupola.
3pm - 4pm - Temple Dance Band on the Temple Common. Bring something to sit on!
Notes:
- Please leave your pets at home.
- The Town Hall is handicapped accessible. Most barns are not.
- Restrooms are available in the Town Hall.
- Young children by the hand in barn areas and other busy locations.
